Although summer is not officially over, I am (sadly) saying goodbye to all the adventures. Deeply into my study mood, I am sharing my #IconicFestivalMoments from my last music festival. Defected Croatia festival in Tisno, Croatia was the last of three destinations I visited with Renault. We laughed our hearts out on the road, had the most delicious spaghetti with seafood, some of us (not me!) had a refreshing swim in the turquoise water and we all joined in a mission to pick as many figs as possible (they were everywhere!). We danced, we sang, it was one crazy summer. You can read more about my summer adventures HERE.

My last and final music festival of this summer was Defected Croatia, located in the beautiful surroundings of Vodice and Murter area, Tisno to be exact. 5 babes, 1 car, lots of laughter! In the morning I picked up my Defected crew, starting with my sister Alja, her bestie Anja, followed by my blogger friend Tesa and last but not least, the photomaster Katarina. We somehow managed to pack all of our stuff into the Renault Captur (it’s way more spacious then it looks; you can imagine how the final result of “light, weekend packing” of 5 girls looks like!) and drove towards Croatia. 4 hour drive turned into a session of back-to-primary-school karaoke. Oh boy, we had so much fun! Even though our music choices didn’t exactly match the Defected Croatia line up, we laughed our hearts out remembering our primary school years. Driving the Renault Captur towards our new #IconisFestivalMoments was a real joy. Discover the end of this story HERE.

Summer is coming to a close, Fall is just around the corner. Although I am not quite ready to say “goodbye” to summer days, I am looking forward to what Fall has to offer. Speaking of fashion, I already had the chance to take a look at the upcoming H&M Studio Collection for Fall 2016. A while back, my blogger bestie Tesa (Magnifique blog), our photographer Katarina Veselič and I decided to visit H&M headquarters in Zagreb, Croatia. We had the opportunity to check out the collection to the fullest and even create some looks incorporating amazing H&M Studio pieces. After quite a long time, there’s a new fashion post on my blog for you to discover. Hope you like it as much as I do!
H&M Studio Collection for Fall 2016 features folk inspired, bohemian fashion. Pieces are rich in romance, folklore and precise detailing, all inspired by female empowerment. Ashley Graham as the main face of the campaign is definitely a great choice for encouraging women to be positive and confident in their own skin.
“This collection is about the strength and beauty of women, and how we express that power through our style. I love the contrast of strong tailoring with handicraft touches of Swedish heritage and folklore,” says Anne-Sofie Johansson, creative advisor at H&M.

While sandy beaches of Mexico are at this point only memories, I (having a short break from school books at the moment) decided it was about time to share with you some of my travel glimpses. Getting to Mexico was quite a ride (those of you who follow me on social media know what I am talking about), our first stop immediately made me feel I am on a true vacation again. Pampering my taste buds with delicious food, relaxing in the hammock at the rooftop, soaking my feet in the Caribbean sea, shopping (of course I had to visit a M.A.C. store, as a true beauty blogger); Playa del Carmen was really good to me. Our “base camp” for discovering the city was The Palm at Playa hotel, located in the heart of the action.
Superb location to discover Playa del Carmen area
The Palm at Plaza is located in the middle of the main street, the 5th avenue, in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It’s just a short walk from the main bus station, a step away from all the action with the variety of shops and restaurants. A sandy beach is just a few meters away, basically you’ve got everything Playa del Carmen has to offer in the reach of a few steps. The main street is full of flavours, music, chats and laughs during the day, while it truly comes alive in the evening. Even though, the hotel still remains a perfect spot to relax and chill.
The magnificent rooftop with the iconic hammock
The Palm at Playa is known for its hospitality, attention to detail and superb service. However, its main feature is definitely the magnificent rooftop with the infinity pool and the iconic hammock. There you can sip cocktails, enjoy the spectacular view, visit their spa during the day and have a gourmet dinner in the evening (or a poolparty on Saturdays). While the rooftop is definitely the main selling point, the rooms are spacious, clean and stylishly decorated, delicious breakfast in their modern Mexican cuisine restaurant keeps you going for a good half a day. We started our Mexican adventure in The Palm at Playa with style.
