It’s all about the upcoming Summer in this third Goodies post, I can’t wait for it! Cat eye sunglasses, lightweight breezy dresses and sun all day long. Yes, you’re gonna see some bare legs in my future outfit posts. When I’m already talking about my posts – you probably noticed I added a new section named Beauty (previously Must Have). I expanded my blog to a new field – my second passion besides fashion – cosmetics.
Vichy BB Idealia Cream Review
BB creams stands for Blemish (or Beauty) Balm and they are “the product” on the market at the moment. They claim to be an all-in-one miracle product (moisturizing, nourishing, protecting with SPF, reducing the appearance of dark spots and making a perfect skin look). Sure, they can be – if you find a proper one for yourself.
My search for the perfect BB cream wasn’t going so great, after trying two testers I almost lost hope for finding a perfect shade for myself. They were just too dark. I definitely have a light skin tone (I’d say a natural undertone) and finding a matching liquid foundation (or in this case BB cream) is always difficult. After receiving the news that Vichy is adding a new product to the Idealia “family”, I was a bit sceptical, expecting the same story again (considering it’s only available in two shades: light and medium). I was so wrong. Idealia BB Cream (light/claire shade) is the BB cream for ladies with fair skin and it suits mine perfectly!
If you’d like to achieve a porcelain Snow White look, this is probably not the best product to go for. It produces a healthy glowy look, but do not fear – without a greasy finish! Applying is very easy thanks to its melting light texture. You actually don’t feel it during the day; it feels light, hydrating and comfortable. Complexion appears illuminated, the coverage is in my opinion medium.
What they say at Vichy? BB Idealia Cream is for women concerned with a grey and dull looking skin tone, uneven complexion and signs of ageing that can be accentuated by daily exposure to the sun. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin. The product is enriched with a unique complex (the natural ingredient kombucha) and light reflecting pigments. It’s designed for 6 different actions: illuminate, hydrate, smooth wrinkles, refine skin texture, reduce the appearance of dark spots and protect with SPF 25. Claims to be the first BB cream with anti-gray technology.
Although it’s considered as an all-in-one product, I’m using it in a combination with Idealia Cream (applying it about 30min before), because of my dry to normal skin type. On critical areas (read: pimples) I also use a corrector in stick. To sum up, BB Idealia Cream quickly became one of my favourite products, giving me a fresh and healthy look that’s perfect for summer days.

Vogue Festival London Part 2
London welcomed me with some expected rain that hadn’t ruined my day – Vogue Festival was waiting for me, or better – I was craving for Paul Smith’s and Alexa Chung’s lecture! After shopping on Oxford Street, I met up with Alexandra Clement (Stylight) and Natasha (blogger at Girl in the lens) at the London Eye. Heading towards Southbank Center we had a nice short chat getting to know each other. After arriving Natasha and I took a look at all the offerings Vogue prepared for us in the lobby – everything from make-up tutorials, hair braiding, Vogue shop… The Queen Elizabeth Hall was reserved for the annual Vogue Festival lectures, and it was sold out. We were all waiting for Sir Paul Smith who teamed with Alexa Chung. Paul Smith definitely is one of the biggest fashion “names”, nevertheless he is known for his fine tailoring. Because of his recognizable design and remarkable personality he really is the one to do Fashion and Personality talk. Despite being a “sir”, he really is a down-to-earth person with a great sense of humor and charm. Alexa Chung was undoubtedly a great match-up (Paul loves beautiful girls) for this lecture, being an amazing model, contributing editor at UK Vogue and BFC Style ambassador.
After Smith’s introductory inspiration speech, how we can find it everywhere – from art to music, architecture and importance of things as: design, communication, individualism, personality, quality and more. They were comfortably seating on sofas, and the lecture went by while he mainly answered questions she asked. I got an insight into what kind of people they are, they really “let us in”. The end of the lecture was handed over to listeners for any questions we had. After the lecture I went for a cup of tea with Alexandra and some other bloggers. We later did some shopping and meet up for a delicious dinner in a nice Italian restaurant. The whole experience was beyond amazing, Stylight organized a trip of my dreams! I’m hoping for another trip like this soon.

Vogue Festival London Part 1
After the most amazing news (getting the chance to travel with Stylight to the Vogue Festival in London), I immediately started planning my whole trip. I flew from Trieste to Stansted Airport and after arriving at the Number Sixteen Hotel, all the tiredness disappeared! Beyond amazing, small trendy hotel with a friendly atmosphere and elegant, precise décor, I was in heaven. It indeed is a great boutique hotel in a really nice location that will stay in my memory forever. I ended my day with a night walk to the Tower Bridge and a relaxing bath. I woke up full of energy (a delicious breakfast did help as well) ready to experience my first journey as blogger.
I took some photos (oh yes, I should’ve taken some more!) to share everything with you. See you soon, the best is yet to come! Those who follow me on Instagram @ajdasitar, already have an idea what an amazing trip I had…
