Even if it might seem cliché to wear floral prints in spring, this year I just cannot resist. There are so many wonderful floral print dress options this season; to be completely honest I went a bit crazy and added quite a few to my wardrobe. They bring an ultra-feminine touch and flirty feel to your look, and this maxi dress from Dorotahy Perkins is definitely one of my favourites. It is a bit shorter, so I can wear it with flats (hurray for comfort!), ruffled off-the-shoulder sleeves are trendy, while the dress itself can be dressed up or down. Perfect for a spring or summer wedding or just for a breezy afternoon walking around the city.

ballerina style

Today’s outfit post was created in collaboration with Marx and their newest campaign DARE TO. I decided to create a look that’s different, but still “me”. Transforming myself into a modern ballerina princess by wearing a soft pink tutu skirt is definitely something out of my comfort zone. This feminine, elegant yet playful look is perfect for spring and summer days. Pairing all pink pieces together, I created a bold (yet pastel) statement. The monochromatic look shifts the focus to the difference in materials as opposed to the difference in colour. Tutu skirts were brought in fashion by the one and only Carrie Bradshaw, she and other fashion influencers proved that it is actually not as intimidating to wear them as it looks. Not everybody thinks they can pull of a tutu skirt, but the end result can be great (you can go for a soft and romantic look or an edgier one, the options are countless). You just need to: DARE TO!

Tom Tailor fashion blog

Even tough trams haven’t been driving around Ljubljana for decades, one still stands immovable near my home. Far from its original purpose (it serves as a pub), I decided to use it as today’s photoshoot background, adding some retro touch to this otherwise also retro inspired outfit. I found this jeans jacket in a mid-season sale segment in Tom Tailor, paired it with a zig-zag etno pattern and yellow glasses, like a modern vintage awakening. It’s fascinating how trends cycle in and out, this outfit post is full of old trends, which made their comeback to the streets in the modern area (sadly, which will never happen to the tram parked in the centre of Ljubljana).
