DIY geometrical nail art

Here is my second post in collaboration with NIVEA and their newest campaign for NIVEA Invisible for Black & White Fresh deodorants. In the first I showed you how to refresh your style with a single statement piece, in this one I am presenting a quick and easy nail art tutorial. I promise, this nail art isn’t nearly as hard as it might look, just as long as you have a little bit of patience. You don’t even need any special tools, all you need is something as simple as a cut-up Scotch tape.

What you need for DIY geometrical nail art:

  • 3 different nail polish shades, my recommendation: black, white and pastel green for a pop of colour
  • matte-finish tape on stand

how to refresh your style

With warmer months arriving, there comes a need for some freshness in the wardrobe. Together with NIVEA and their campaign for the newest Nivea Invisible for Black & White Fresh deodorants I created these two looks showing how you can refresh your style with a single interesting piece.

Refresh you look with one of the hottest trends right now – kimono

The first one is a casual everyday look featuring a flower print kimono, which is a perfect transitional piece. I am sure you will find it useful during spring and summer months, it’s trendy and makes the whole (even the most boring) outfit pop. You just throw it on a basic black and white combo and instantly your look will be refreshed.

A statement necklace can refresh your office look

For both looks, the core pieces are in timeless black and white. These two colours are a staple in my wardrobe, they represent a perfect base for each colour or print. They are an obvious choice for business opportunities. Black lace pencil skirt and a trendy blouse with frills I spiced up with a statement necklace in vibrant green. Your (almost boring) office look can get an instant refresh with only one piece.

Tom Tailor blog

Today’s outfit represents a perfect mixture of colours, materials and patterns. Even though it might seem too much, I believe the whole look is a proof that mixing different pieces together can be a refreshing idea. The main piece of this outfit is a light, airy and colourful maxi skirt, which flows amazingly when walking. Its etno inspired print is statement, but on the other hand still versatile and easy to mix & match. I paired it with a basic striped knitwear and a light blue jeans jacket (both are “must have” pieces in each and every wardrobe in my opinion; and they both were on mid-season sale at Tom Tailor!).

Mixing and matching is a fashion game that’s always fun to play!
