Dorothy Perkins outfit

Each girl obviously wants to look best at her prom. Although for some it is only a high school dance, it also symbolizes a milestone in a life of teenager. It’s been years since my high school graduation, but I still remember the prom vividly. Probably the most important detail related to the prom is the dress choice, but I wasn’t the girl who made a huge deal about it. It was just about the knee length, colourful and made from light material. I am not sure if today I would go for the same design, but at that time I tough it was the perfect choice. And that’s probably the beauty of style evolving by time. Enough of my prom rambling, today I am presenting you an outfit post featuring a long Dorothy Perkins dress. Short and long dresses, they both have their pros and cons, but in reality, you should wear what you want and feel comfortable in. The only additional advice I can give you is to give a chance to the dress that you haven’t considered in the first place. Sometimes fashion pieces you haven’t exactly envisioned wearing turn out to be the best.

H&M Conscious Exclusive collection 2017

This year’s H&M Conscious Exclusive collection is definitely the one to keep your eye on. It’s a premium collection designed for special occasions, captivating the “freshness of spring with the soul of sustainability”. Floral prints, shimmers and sequins, pleats, swirling ruffles, floating, soft materials, each and every piece is something special, feels and looks more premium and elevated – you’d never guess it is actually made from sustainable materials, such as Bionic, a recycled plastic, that was stranded on the shoreline.

Driven by the interesting story and new exciting pieces, I decided to give this collection a different try by stepping out of my comfort zone. I paired a yellow and blue floral ruffle dress with statement trousers that flounce while walking. Wearing this playful, experimental and sensual look I was accompanied by my dear blogger friend Tesa (Magnifique blog) and together we walked the streets of Ljubljana in the most fashionable way possible.

“H&M’s Conscious Exclusive collection shows how the best style can be mindful of the planet, to help protect it for the future. It’s such a desirable collection, with pieces made in sustainable materials that you want to wear for seasons to come” (H&M)

Ljubljana travel guide

Together with Canon, I created a Ljubljana travel guide, and not just any travel guide! This post contains 23 location suggestions, that you can visit in one single day (even if the day has only 23 hours, because of the daylight saving time changes, like today’s). Canon team gave me a Canon EOS M5 camera with two lenses (18-150mm and 11-22mm), which are both appropriate for exploring the city as a tourist. I found 23 stories to share with you in order to create an ultimate Ljubljana travel guide. There’s everything from touristy attractions, galleries, shopping and food (of course!). Scroll over the next 23 photos and discover Ljubljana through the Canon photo lens. So, what to see, eat and do in Ljubljana?

poslovna moda

Although my office at the moment is looking fairly similar to my afternoon break location (yeap, I’ve been mainly working on my sofa for the past few weeks, with tons of work I am finding it more comfortable than a chair in the dining area – which, btw will get a new look in a few weeks time, we are about to renovate our kitchen, I am so exited!), I’ve decided to show you this look, which can be put in a creative office style box. For those of you, who are lucky enough to work in a creative environment that allows a bit more fashion-forwardness, this all Dorothy Perkins look can be an inspiration for your a creative office look, especially on “casual Fridays”. This black shirt dress has the perfect length, pairing it with some fishnet tights it adds a trendy vibe. Beige throw on the jacket offers an alternative to the traditional blazer or trench coat. With black pumps and a trendy, spacious handbag I’ve completed my creative office look, which is perfect for spring months.
