The first morning (or better say noon) of 2013, my boyfriend and I went for a walk to recharge our batteries and get some fresh mountain air. Wearing a warm outfit is a must in these kind of conditions. My Nike coat did it’s job again. I really love this outerwear, because it’s warm, comfy and goes great with sporty outfits.
Surfing the web, I found some outfit ideas and I decided to make another polyvore set. This winter I’m more into natural tones! I love beige since forever. You can find everything from chocolate brown to camel in my closet. I added some black pieces in the set, because black is eternal and goes great with everything. I spent my New Year’s Eye in the Slovenian moutains, precisely in Mežakla where my boyfriend’s family has an amazing Chalet. Mežakla is a long undulating plateau over 1000m of height, in the foothills of the Julian Alps and is a part of Triglav National Park. It was a pleasant break being away from the urban lifestyle, in nature, with no internet connection and modern technology. We even had some snow! I spent the last hours of 2012 with delicious food, some bubbles, board games, laugh and an inaccurate countdown (which didn’t even matter). I really had a great time! Wishing you an amazing 2013!
This year Christmas in Slovenia wasn’t white. The day itself was very cloudy, gray and overall the atmosphere outside was lacking Christmas spirit. I really like typical Christmas with snow and I don’t even mind low temperatures and freezing noses. However, my burgundy pants, collar accessory, great food, delicious sweets and amazing gifts from my family and friends made it feel like Christmas.
It is that time of the year again, when you are thankful for everything merry and bright.
