Couleur Caramel has taken inspiration for the spring-summer collection from nature; there are some golden shades and some exotic ones as well. Continuing its series of limited editions it kept its unique packaging from recyclable materials. For those who don’t now – Nature cos launched Couleur Caramel in 2003, which is an organic natural skin and make up line. I got four products for testing and I must say that I’m really excited to try some more.
ORGANIC TERRACOTTA COMPACT BRONZER n°23 Pearly Brown Beige & POWDER BRUSH n°1
Compact Bronzer with tanned effect is perfect for creating a sun-kissed look and it is one of my favourite products at the moment. I got it in shade Pearly Brown Beige which is in my opinion perfect for everyone, even blondes with fair skin tone. Containing all natural mineral pigments it gives you an amazing luminous effect. I use it mostly to shape my face and it really finishes a nice summer make up look. I’m sure I’ll use it in the winter as well. I apply it with Couleur Caramel’s powder brush. Due to its specific shape I had some problems at first. I never had a brush shaped like this, but I managed to get the right technique now. This brush is one of the softest I’ve ever used, it’s made of goat hair – the quality is exceptional. I really love the whole Couleur Caramel concept – all natural ingredients and natural packaging.
LIPSTICK n°117 (Bikini)
The Couleur Caramel lipstick in Bikini shade can be found in the new spring summer collection. It really is a strong color, so I haven’t found many opportunities to wear it. Hopefully, I’ll have the chance to add it to an outfit look really soon to show you how it looks on my lips. I really like the fact it’s long lasting and strongly pigmented, but it still moistures my lips. It contains organic jojoba, apricot, olive oil and Shea butter. You should draw the pencil line before applying the lipstick.
NAIL POLISH n°52 Bikini
Last but not least: the Bikini Nail Polish from Couleur Caramel was the product I didn’t expect much of and it turned out really nicely! I was super surprised of its easy application, great coverage (one coat is actually enough) and it lasts reasonably long. I applied only the base coat (no top coat) and it took about 4 days before the first real damage appeared. It dries quite fast and that’s another reason I like it so much. The shade is not my favourite, but it goes great with the lipstick and my new neon sandals.
