October is most definitely the »pinkest« month of them all. I probably don’t need to explain to you why, we all know that it’s a breast cancer awareness month. Pink is a sign of hope, it represents compassion, nurturing and love. It can be the most feminine and romantic color, while being intimate, thoughtful and caring. I decided to give my support to all those who have been fighting against breast cancer by rounding up all things pink that I’ve been using and loving lately.
»The product« of the month is definitely the set of Zoeva Pink Elements brushes. They launched two amazing sets today (October 27, 2014). I’ve been using the Classic Set non-stop and loving every single brush of the 8 it contains. You can buy them HERE.
Catrice has been one of my favourite drugstore makeup brands and Catrice Liquid Metal Eyeshadow (020 Gold n’ Roses) is one of my fav shades to put on my eyelids. It goes great with the Catrice Defining Blush (080 Sunrose Avanue) I’ve been swiping all around my cheeks almost every day since I got it. To even out my skin complextion, I’ve been rediscovering the amazing Vichy Idealia BB Cream (Light Shade) that I reviewed a while ago (check it out here). Its »sister« Vichy Idealia Eyes has been helping me cover my dark areas around my eyes (I also review it a while ago, read my thoughts here). My lips have been loving Labello Repair & Beauty, Labello’s unique new double action formula that leaves a rosy finish and takes care of my dry lips.
When it comes to nailpolishes, the Catrice Nail Lacquer (51 I’m so aNude) and Catrice Liquid Metal Luxury Lacquers – Shiny (03 My Satin Ballet Shoes) are the ones to go for. Love wearing them separately as well as combining them (painting one of two fingers in a glittery one while leaving the rest in soft pink).
Pink skincare! I am not sure Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate counts as pink, however it suits well the whole photo composition, right? This ultimate serum for enhancing skin’s inherent multi-defensive power against signs of aging, environmental factors and daily stress. I’ve been loving its light texture, the packaging is beyond stunning. Another product I’m literally obsessed with is the Heaven by Deborah Mitchell New Edition Cleansing Cream. I got it in tester size and I’m already thinking about purchasing the original package. It contains bee toxin and it’s the first bee venom cleanser in the World. It removes makeup without any special effort or rubbing and leaves my skin super cleansed (not dried out).
Taking care of my body and soul. I’ve been treating my skin with the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Body Wash, the most amazing body wash ever! Love its rose scent, together with the REN Moroccan Rose Otto Firming Crème Riche, they are everything my dry skin craves for. It’s been a real pleasure putting on soft creamy-pink Cheek by Lisca underwear (Sparkle). I’ve been a huge fan of this Slovenian brand, they make the most comfortable, high quality, feminine lingerie. The accessory piece I’ve been adding to my fall outfits a lot is the amazing Perla necklace (Lilly).
